October is Canadian Library Month! During this month, libraries and library partners across Canada raise awareness of the valuable role libraries play in Canadians’ lives.

Celebrate Canadian Library Month with Us! We’re excited to invite you to join in the celebration with two exciting competitions!

Library Card Adventures – Where Will It Take You?

We want to see how your library card opens up a world of adventure! Share your library experiences by submitting photos of yourself with your library card and items you’ve borrowed. Whether it’s a trip in outdoors, a thrilling book, a games night, a DIY project, or a fun event at the library, we want to see it all!

How to Enter:

1. Take a Photo: Capture a photo of yourself using an item borrowed from the Cochrane Public Library. This could include books, movies, games, tools, equipment, or any other library item.
2. Include Your Library Card: Ensure your library card is visible in the photo.
3. Submit Your Photo: Email your photo to info@cochranepubliclibrary.ca with the subject line "Library Card Adventures Submission" or post on the library’s Facebook Page.

Prize: $50.00 gift card to Found Bookstore

Library Card Bingo Challenge

Get ready for some library fun! Join our Library Card Bingo Challenge and complete various tasks related to the library to fill out your bingo card. It’s a great way to explore everything your library has to offer—perfect for individuals and families!

How to Participate:

1. Pick up a bingo card at the library or download it.
2. Complete the tasks listed on the card.
3. Return your completed bingo card to the library for a chance to win prizes!

Prize: $50.00 gift card to Cochrane Movie House.
