This program is designed for children ages 10 - 13.

Join us for this FREE program designed to explore ways for youth to build a more positive, balanced relationship with their bodies and lives. Each session will explore a new aspect of body positivity.

This program explores body positivity, ideas surrounding beauty, health, and self-confidence without comparison or judgment. During the adolescent years, young people experience many changes, both emotionally and physically. Teaching tweens about self-compassion and self-respect encourages them to develop the confidence to stand strong in their individuality and connect and support one another instead of competing and comparing.

The Be Body Positive Curriculum is an evidence-based program that teaches gentle tools for physical and emotional well-being. During the program we will explore five Core Competencies that allow people to develop self-care behaviours originating from a place of self-love and appreciation. These Core Competencies help people to have more positive, balanced relationships with their bodies and lives.

No experience necessary. All supplies and snacks will be provided. To keep your child safe, please send them with their own snacks if they have any dietary restrictions.

There is no session on August 5.

Registration opens at 10:00 am on June 15. Limited Space Available.
