The Cochrane Public Library offers speakers and presenters on just about any topic imaginable? You can learn new ways of expanding your mind on so many levels... we've got it all right here!

Writer's Group (16+)


As an informal and welcoming writing group, our purpose is to offer a supportive environment for writers of all levels of skill development and genre interest. Each meeting offers participants ongoing opportunities to share their work, engage in group based writing activities and receive(only if requested) constructive feedback.  Please consider joining our community group of aspiring and enthusiastic writers. 

We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month 6:00pm - 8:00pm 
&
the 4th Sunday of each month 1:00pm - 3:00pm




Senior Tech Tuesdays(55+)

Learn the Basis of operating a computer. We cover Google and Micrsoft Word during our 6 weeks.

Elaine Phillips Lecture Series

Join Elaine Phillips, history and literature instructor and lover of literature for her fall lecture series and have some fun learning and laughing. Each lecture includes an introduction to the author's life and times, as well as their writings.
