Keep your
messages as brief as possible.

Use both upper and lower case letters. You are considered to be SHOUTING
if you use all capitals or upper case letters.

reasons, you are advised not to share personal information online.

If you are not
familiar with the sender of a message containing an attachment, it is
recommended you don’t open the attachment.

Attachments
with “exe.” may contain a virus and you should not open them.

Be careful
when addressing your mail. Addresses must be typed exactly as written.

Always use a
subject heading on your message which reflects the content of your note.

When replying to a message, you only need to include enough
information to be understood. It is inappropriate to reply by including the
entire previous message. Also, be
sure to check who you are sending to: Reply, Reply All or Forward.

Never send chain letters using electronic mail on internet. Your
network privileges may be
revoked.

Use spell
check and proof read your messages for errors prior to sending.
It is considered courteous to open with a salutation and end
with “best regards”, “thank you”
or any other appropriate closure.
